Sam co-founded UNILAD and with the help of an incredibly talented team, grew a small Facebook page from his bedroom in Birmingham, into one of the biggest social media companies in the world. Now he is creating content and running the social media for Seaspiracy. His passion and enthusiasm for conscious living and environmental sustainability, as well as his creative and communication skill set is helping to make the world a better place.

Martyn Anstey

Chief Strategy Officer, Associate Producer

Martyn grew up in the remote English countryside in Devon with a curious mind and a hunger to explore what was over the horizon. Inspired by National Geographic as his window to the world he set out on a quest to learn more about the planet, its challenges and to dedicate his life to help find and scale potential solutions. 

 

His quest has taken him to over 100 countries living and working in Asia, Latin America, North America and Europe from leading environment projects in the rainforests of Costa Rica to launching multiple National Geographic TV Channels in Asia Pacific to being part of the Pole2Pole expedition from North Pole to South Pole by bicycle to highlight environmental issues. 

 

Martyn has been instrumental in the strategic direction of iconic brands including the Financial Times, National Geographic, Babson College, Pearson, Fox International and Kimberly Clark before disrupting the Education sector as CEO of Wall Street English (Sold to Carlyle Private Equity).  

 

Martyn is the founder of RE.IMAGINE which helps reimagine the food, health, environmental and education sectors.  REIMAGINEoceans convenes innovators, entrepreneurs, Governments, investors and media to help solve the problems facing the Ocean. Martyn is founder of DREAM:Skool teaching life skills. 

He is passionate about taking the revelations in ocean conservation discussed in Seaspiracy to change-makers, industry leaders, and policy makers.
